The third edition of the Women’s Caribbean Premier League has been announced. The draft of the WCPL took place on Tuesday, 16 July.
The WCPL event will take place from August 21 to 29. The likes of Georgia Redmayne, Hayley Matthews, Afy Fletcher, Amanda Jade Wellington and Laura Harris will be participating in this competition.
Defending champions Barbados Royals have signed in Sri Lanka’s Chamari Athapaththu in their squad.
The tournament will start with Royals and Amazon Warriors squaring off at the Brian Lara Stadium in Tarouba, Trinidad.

Harshitha Samarawickrama will be joining the Trinbago Knight Riders squad. She will be replacing Meg Lanning who has been ruled out due to injury.
