South Africa continued from where they had left in the ODI’s as they defeated Australia by 21 runs in the one off T-20 international at Carrara on Saturday.

With rain forcing the game to be reduced to ten overs, Australian skipper Aaron Finch opted to bowl first after winning the toss. South Africa’s opening pair of Quinton De Kock and Reeza Hendricks got their team off to a blazing start as they added 42 runs for the opening wicket before Nathan Coulter-Nile broke the stand by getting rid of Hendricks. Australia vs South Africa Third ODI Match Report 2018 Hobart | Proteas win 2-1

Scintillating centuries from Faf Du Plessis and David Miller helped South Africa beat Australia by 40 runs in the third one day international at Hobart on Sunday.

After winning the toss and electing to field, the home side appeared to have fully justified skipper Aaron Finch’s decision when they picked up South Africa’s top three with just 50 odd on board for the visitors.

The first to go was wicket keeper Quinton De Kock, caught by Alex Carey off Mitchell Starc for 4. His opening partner Reeza Hendricks was the next to follow, caught down the leg side by Carey off the bowling of Marcus Stoinis.

The series is on the line in Hobart as Australia and South Africa lock horns in the Tasmanian capital city on Sunday.

Australia vs South Africa 2018 Adelaide Second ODI match report- Proteas choke & collapse again!

Australia ended their seven game losing streak in ODI’s as they beat South Africa by 7 runs in the second one day international at Adelaide. The home side produced a strong bowling performance to defend a modest total of 232 on what appeared to be a good batting wicket, storming back after a chastening defeat five days ago in Perth.

South African skipper Faf du Plessis won the toss and sent Australia in at the Adelaide Oval. The hosts suffered an early jolt as local lad Travis Head was trapped LBW by Lungi Ngidi for 8 runs. Even worse, Head wasted the review despite the appeal looking good in real time.

The returning Shaun Marsh along with skipper Aaron Finch added 54 runs for the second wicket stand, before Kagiso Rabada provided a much needed breakthrough by getting rid of Marsh for 22.

Finch looked set for a big score, but lost his concentration and chopped on for 41, giving Dwaine Pretorius his first wicket of the game.

Chris Lynn then took Rabada to the cleaners, hitting a six and three fours off consecutive deliveries. The South African pacer however had the last laugh as Lynn attempted to smite another delivery, only to be caught behind by Quinton De Kock.
