First Debutant to take a Hat trick in the IPL Andrew Tye-2017

AJ.Tye of Gujarat Lions became the first debutant to claim a hat trick against Rising Pune Supergiant on 14th April 2017.He claimed the wickets of Rahul Tripathi, Ben Stokes, Manoj Tiwary, Ankit Sharma & Shardul Thakur. He would have finished with 6 wickets, had Jadeja not dropped the catch off Rahul Desraj Chahar. In the end he finished with figures of 5-17. Second Youngest Player to Score a century in IPL-Sanju Samson

Sanju Samson became the second youngest player to score a century in IPL. He scored 102 runs of 63 balls against Rising Pune Supergiant. Kieron Pollard Sanjay Manjrekar Tweet Controversy

Sanjay Manjrekar’s comments about Pollard (During Mumbai Indians vs Kolkata Knight Riders on 9th April 2017).

When I look at Pollard, I look at him as more a six-seven-overs-left-in-the-innings batsman. Whether he will be able to bat at No 3 and whether he has the versatility to pick up the singles if the boundaries are not coming, does he have the range as a batsman? I don’t think so. Harsh Goenka MS Dhoni Tweet

This controversial tweet about MS Dhoni by industrialist Harsh Goenka (the brother of RPSG owner Sanjiv) has seen the latter come under fire on Twitter. Sanjiv made the decision of replacing Dhoni as Rising Pune Supergiant captain in favour of Australian Steve Smith, a move that was criticised by many on social media when it was originally announced before the start of the 10th season of the IPL.
