The Board of Control for Cricket in India have announced India’s squad for the ODI & the one off test series against Afghanistan beginning next month.
The likes of Manav Suthar, Harsh Dubey and Gurnoor Brar have earned a maiden call up.
The one-off Test against Afghanistan will be held at the New International Cricket Stadium in New Chandigarh from June 6 to 10, while the one dayers will take place from June 14 to 20 respectively.
KL Rahul will replaced Rishabh Pant as the vice-captain of the Test side.
The squad will be captained by Shubman Gill , with Shreyas Iyer being named as his deputy. Star bowler Jasprit Bumrah has been rested for both ODIs and the Test.
