Sri Lanka have unveiled their 15-member squad for the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026 scheduled to begin on February 7 in India and Sri Lanka.
The squad will be captained by Dasun Shanaka. Kamindu Mendis returns to the squad, while Dhananjaya de Silva has been left out of the squad.
The 2014 champions begin their campaign against Ireland at the R. Premadasa Stadium in Colombo on February 8. The Lankans are drawn in Group B, alongside Australia, Ireland, Oman and Zimbabwe.
Edit February 7 : Fast bowler Eshan Malinga have been ruled out of the tournament and will be replaced by Pramod Madushan.
Edit February 10. all-rounder Wanindu Hasaranga has been ruled out of the remainder of the T20 World Cup and will be replaced by Dushan Hemantha
