Cricket South Africa have named their 15 man squad for the upcoming T20 World Cup scheduled to begin in February in India and Sri Lanka.
The squad will be led by Aiden Markram. The likes of Ryan Rickelton and Tristian Stubbs have been axed from the squad.
Kagiso Rabada who missed the recently concluded series against India due to injury returns to the marquee event. Jason Smith has earned a maiden call up.
The Proteas are placed in Group D alongside Afghanistan, Canada, New Zealand, and United Arab Emirates.
They will begin their campaign on February 9 against Canada in Ahmedabad.
