West Indies have picked their 15-member squad for the upcoming ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024, which will be co-hosted by the Caribbean nations and the USA in June.
The team will be captained by Rovman Powell and have the likes of Shimron Hetmyer, Nicholas Pooran and Romario Shepherd in their set up.
The Caribbean have also included Kyle Mayers, Matthew Forde, Fabian Allen, Hayden Walsh & Andre Fletcher in their reserves.
The Windies are in Group C alongside Afghanistan, New Zealand, Papua New Guinea and Uganda. The two-time Champions will play their opening game on 2 June against PNG in Guyana.
Edit
Windies suffered a body blow as all-rounder Jason Holder has been ruled out of the upcoming ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024 due to an injury. He will be replaced by Obed McCoy.
