Australia vs Pakistan Day 3 Attendance Perth Test 15,956 December 16 2023

Nathan Lyon claimed figures of 3/66 in front of 15,956 crowd as Australia took firm control by taking a lead of 216 at the end of Day 3 of the first test against Pakistan on Saturday.

Resuming at 132/2 ,Pakistan were bowled out for 271, giving the hosts an overall lead of 211.

In the second innings, Khurram Shahzad pegged Australia back by dismissing the first innings centurion David Warner and Marnus Labuschagne early to reduce them to 5/2.

However Usman Khawaja along with Steve Smith resurrected the innings with a solid unbeaten 79 run stand for the third wicket to take his side to 84/2 with an overall lead of 300.
