The BCCI on Thursday announced the squads for the upcoming tour of South Africa. The tour comprises off three T20Is, three ODIs and two Tests.
The T20I side will be lead by Suryakumar Yadav, while KL Rahul will be captaining the limited overs series side.
Star players likes Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli have been rested for the white ball series but will be back for the test matches.
The squad also marks the return of Deepak Chahar. Sanju Samson and Rajat Patidar have been named in the ODI set up, while Sai Sudarshan receives a maiden ODI call up.
Veteran batters Ajinkya Rahane and Cheteshwar Pujara have been dropped from the Test team.
