Edit– on March 4, 2023, Deandra Dottin (WI) was replaced by Kim Garth (AUS) at Gujarat Giants.
March 9, 2023- Beth Mooney (AUS) replaced by Laura Wolvaardt (SA) at Gujarat Giants.
Each franchise had six overseas (non-Indian) slots available, so there were 30 players in all who got bids. The vast majority of the foreign players bought at the 2023 WIPL were Australian- no surprise given how they have dominated the women’s game in recent years.

The costliest foreign players at the WIPL 2023 were Australia’s Ash Gardner and England’s Nat Sciver, both of whom got bids of INR 3.2 crores (320 lakh INR or AUD 557K or GBP 320K)
Any associate player bought at the WIPL 2023 auction?
The only associate nation player purchased at the WIPL auction was American Tara Norris, who went to Delhi Capitals for 10 lakh INR.
How many Australian players purchased at the Women’s Indian Premier League auction?
Originally, there were 14 Australian women’s cricketers bought at the WIPL. This increased to 15 on March 4, 2023 when Kim Garth was officially chosen by Gujarat Giants to replace the injured Deandra Dottin (WI)
