Rilee Rossouw scored a magnificent hundred as South Africa beat India by 49 runs in the fourth T20 international at the Holkar Cricket Stadium in Indore on Tuesday.
After being asked to bat first by Indian skipper Rohit Sharma, Umesh Yadav drew first blood by dismissing the out of form Temba Bavuma chipping a catch to Rohit at short midwicket.
The pair of Quinton De Kock and Rossouw added 90 runs for the second wicket before the former was run out by a brilliant by Shreyas Iyer from deep midwicket boundary for a fine 68.
The left hander featured in yet another 87 run stand for the third wicket alongside Tristan Stubbs before the latter(23) perished to Deepak Chahar.
Rossouw scored a superb 48 ball-100 to take South Africa to a mammoth score of 227/3 in their allotted 20 overs.
Chasing 228, India got off to poor start as Rohit Sharma dragged a back-of-length delivery from Kagiso Rabada onto his stumps for a duck.
