Shubman Gill scored a fluent 57 as Kolkata Knight Riders defeated the Sunrisers Hyderabad by six wickets to keep their play-offs hopes alive on Sunday.

Gill along with Nitish Rana added 55 runs for the third wicket before the former flicked a Siddarth Kaul delivery to Holder at long on for a well made 57.

Dinesh Karthik remained unbeaten on 18, as Kolkata reached the target off 116 with 2 balls to spare.

Gill was declared the Man of the Match.
