The likes of Moises Henriques, Alex Carey, Josh Philippe, Jhye Richardson, Andrew Tye, Jason Behrendorff and Ashton Turner failed to make the cut.
Aaron Finch who recently underwent knee surgery will be leading the side and Cummins will be his deputy. Dan Christian, Nathan Ellis and Daniel Sams have been named as reserve players in Australia’s T20 World Cup squad. The Aussies will kick start their campaign against South Africa on October 23.
