List of Overseas players at MSL 2018 | Rookie players at MSL 2018

Here are the list of overseas players chosen at today’s Mzansi Super League draft. Please note that the list does not include Kolpaks.

Tshwane Spartans have chosen the most number of foreign players (4). Cape Town Blitz are next with three, while the rest effectively have 2 each.

Cape Town Blitz– Asif Ali (Pak), Malan (Eng) & Badree (WI)
Durban Heat– Rashid (Afg), Mavuta (Zim)
NMB Giants– Jason Roy and Ben Duckett (Eng)
Jozi Stars – Chris Gayle (WI) and Dan Christian (Aus)
Paarl Rocks – Dwayne Bravo (WI), Paul Stirling (Ire)

Each franchise also had to choose a rookie player (under the age of 21 and not capped by South Africa). The Tshwane Spartans chose two rookie players while all other franchises opted for a single rookie player, as seen below.
