Chennai Super Kings will be locking horns with Sunrisers Hyderabad in Qualifier 1 of the Vivo IPL 2018 at Wankhede Stadium on Tuesday
The contest is expected to be mouthwatering between the two former IPL Champions, especially as the performance of both the teams have been been neck and neck this season.
While Sunrisers Hyderabad are at the top of the table with 18 points from 14 matches with a net run rate of +0.280, Chennai Super Kings are placed in the second position, but with a lower net run rate of + 0.253.
The winner of the Qualifier 1 will getting a direct entry to the IPL 2018 final, which will be played in Mumbai on May 27.
However the loser will be playing the Qualifier 2 against the winner of the Eliminator match, which is to be played on 23rd May Wednesday between Kolkata Knight Riders and Rajasthan Royals, who are placed in the 3rd and 4th position respectively, after the Round Robin stages.
Chennai Super Kings are the only side in this season to have beaten the others at least once.
