Indian team continued their dream run as they crushed South Africa by 124 runs, and with that taking a 3-0 lead in the six match series in Newlands, Cape Town on Wednesday.
South Africa won the toss and inserted India in and did not get to the best of starts as they lost Rohit Sharma in the first over of Rabada.
However Kohli’s unbeaten 160 and some useful contributions in middle helped India propel to 303/6.
Proteas chase began shakely as they lost Hashim Amla of the bowling of JasprIt Bumrah.
Apart from Jean-Paul Duminy, who scored 51 runs, none of the other batsman could come in terms with the spinners.
The Proteas once again were blown away by Yuzvendra Chahal and Kuldeep Yadav. The legspinner picked up 4/46 while the Chinaman picked up 4/23 as India secured their third straight win.
This is the first time that India have secured three consecutive wins against the Proteas in South Africa and they are closing in on a magnificent series win.
