Prithvi Shaw became the youngest Indian player to score a half century on test debut on Day 1 of the ongoing first test match against West Indies in Rajkot. He reached his milestone in just 56 balls.
The previous record was held by Abbas Ali Baig at Manchester in 1959 against England.
