Sandeep Lamichhane became the first player from Nepal to play in the Indian Premier League, 2018 after making his debut for Delhi Daredevils against Royal Challengers Bangalore on Saturday.
He finished with figures of 1/25 in 4 overs against Royal Challengers Bangalore.
The 17 year old was bought for Rs 20 lakh by Delhi Daredevils at the auctions earlier this year in January.
Sandeep claimed a hatrick in the U-19 World Cup and thus became only the fifth bowler in history to achieve this feat.
His 5 wicket haul helped Nepal beat Ireland by 8 wickets, and thus helping his team enter the knockout stages for the second time in their seventh World Cup appearance.
