Australian skipper Steve Smith got engaged to his long tern girlfriend Dani Willis. He went down on his knees today in New York to propose her and she accepted his proposal. Dani Willis is a lawyer by profession.Steve Smith captained Rising Pune Supergiant and took his team to the final,but unfortunately couldnt clinch the IPL Title. Australia captained by Steve Smith failed in the ongoing Champions Trophy as two of the games were washed out. The ongoing pay dispute between Cricket Australia and the players have worsened with CA sending a formal letter to the players officially informing them they will be unemployed if a deal is not finalised by this week. IPL title right Sponsorship Value- Vivo to pay 2199 crore till 2022

Vivo the Chinese mobile manufacturer has retained the IPL Right for the next 5 seasons from the year 2018-2022 with a massive bid of 2199 crore. Vivo first bagged the title sponsorship in October 2015 for 2 editions from Pepsi Co India who had ended the 5 year contract, two years ago. The bid was opened on Tuesday in Mumbai, in the presence of both parties along with IPL chairman Rajiv Shukla and BCCI’s acting secretary Amitabh Choudhary. India A Squad for the Tour of South Africa

Here are the list of India A players who are going to feature for the tour of South Africa. Krunal Pandya and Basil Thampi have earned maiden call-ups to the India A side after their impressive performance for their respective IPL Franchise. The tour will begin on July 26 with a triangular one-day series, also involving Australia A. India and South Africa will play two 4 day games in August. South Africa’s Test Squad for 2017 England Tour

Here are the list of South Africa’s test players who are going to feature against England starting from July 6. They have added fresh faces including wicketkeeper Heino Kuhn, Aiden Markram and allrounder Andile Phehlukwayo. The players to get the axe are Stephen Cook and Wayne Parnell. First Batsman to Be Dismissed Obstructing the Field in T20Is-Jason Roy

England opening batsman Jason Roy became the first Batsman to be dismissed obstructing the field in T20Is during his side’s three-run defeat against South Africa at The Cooper Associates County Ground, Taunton on Friday. The incident took place in the 15th over when Liam Plunkett hit the ball towards the point fielder and Roy straightaway called for a run. Afghanistan, Ireland get Test Status

Afghanistan and Ireland have received test status from ICC. They have become the 11th and 12th test playing nations. This was approved during the ICC’s AGM which was held in London. In the year 2005 Ireland were runners up in the ICC tournament, to get their maiden World Cup berth. After 2 years they shocked Pakistan on St Patrick’s day in Jamaica and from there on they never looked back by qualifying for the consecutive world cup which they defeated England and West Indies to go ahead and remain competitive with the other test playing nations. They had players like Ed Joyce,William Boyd Rankin has played cricket for both England and Irish. Warren Deutrom the Ireland Chief Exeuctive said that players won’t leave in the future.
